Senior Estimator

A long-established, international construction and development contractor with over a century of industry experience. Expereince delivering high-quality projects in sectors including commercial, residential, hospitality, student accommodation, refurbishment, and mixed-use developments. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, design-development, and hard-bid estimates * Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing using drawings, specifications, and project documents * Develop and analyze subcontractor and supplier bid packages * Level bids, evaluate scope coverage, and identify gaps or risks * Collaborate closely with preconstruction, project management, and leadership teams * Participate in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives * Maintain historical cost data and support continuous improvement of estimating processes * Assist with bid strategy, scheduling input, and project handover meetings Requirements: * Senior-level experience in construction estimating (main contracting) * Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricing * Proficiency with estimating software * Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability What’s Offered * Competitive compensation and benefits * Long-term career growth and leadership opportunities * Exposure to diverse, high-quality construction projects * Collaborative, professional work environment This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator looking to take ownership of the estimating process and contribute strategically to project success
