Trainee Quantity Surveyor

Trainee Quantity Surveyor Swansea, South Wales We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist contractor operating across the infrastructure, construction, utilities sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring in a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Swansea. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in quantity surveying within a supportive and experienced commercial team. The Role Working alongside experienced surveyors and project managers, you will assist with the commercial management of a variety of projects across civil engineering, ground investigation, environmental works and infrastructure support services. Responsibilities will include: * Assisting with cost tracking and project budgets * Supporting the preparation of valuations and cost reports * Assisting with subcontractor procurement and administration * Supporting contract documentation and commercial records * Liaising with project managers and site teams * Helping ensure projects are delivered within budget and programme The Ideal Candidate * Degree or studying towards a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar (or relevant industry experience) * Strong organisational and communication skills * Good numerical and analytical ability * Keen to learn and develop within the construction and infrastructure sector * Proactive and motivated with a positive attitude What’s on Offer * Excellent opportunity to develop a long-term career in quantity surveying * Exposure to a wide range of infrastructure, geotechnical and environmental projects * Supportive team environment with ongoing training and development * Competitive salary and benefits package If you are looking to start your career within a growing specialist contractor and gain hands-on experience across diverse projects, we would love to hear from you.
