The Senior Commercial Intelligence and Management Information Lead will oversee strategic procurement and supply chain functions within the public sector. This permanent role and requires expertise in Proven track record delivering commercial MI/dashboards (Power BI) and insight for senior decision‑makers and advanced Excel/PowerPoint; data‑storytelling and senior briefings within a finance and procurement commercial setting. Locations: Birmingham, Bristol, Calder (Normanton), London, Sunderland, Warrington. Roles based in London will receive an additional London Weighting of £4,218. This role attracts Recruitment and Retention Allowance (per annum) of £3000. This is an enhancement to the role and is reviewed annually. A with an employer contribution of 28.97% Description Lead the development and delivery of procurement and supply chain strategies. Manage and analyse commercial intelligence to optimise decision-making processes. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance procurement efficiency. Oversee the preparation and implementation of management information systems. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support organisational goals. Maintain accurate records and ensure transparency in all procurement activities. Drive continuous improvement within the procurement and supply chain department. Profile A successful Senior Commercial Intelligence and Management Information Lead should have: Experience of leading supplier financial assurance: due diligence, distress indicators, open Delivery of enterprise Experience of commercial modelling for negotiations and strategic options (scenario/sensitivity analysis) Experience of designing data definitions, controls and reporting standards that improve quality, timeliness and consistency Job Offer Competitive salary of £67,609 per annum.
