Field Service Engineer: Patient Handling Equipment & Medical Beds Location: Dorset / Hampshire    About the Role   We're looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer with a strong hydraulic background and solid electro-mechanical experience to join a growing team supporting patient handling equipment and medical beds across Dorset / Hampshire. You'll be carrying out planned preventative maintenance and repairs while delivering a professional, customer-focused service to care homes, hospitals, and healthcare environments.    Key Responsibilities Carry out servicing, repairs and fault-finding on patient handling equipment and medical beds. Recommend repairs, upgrades, and improvements to customers, including quotations for wear-and-tear parts to reduce breakdowns between visits. Identify and pass on potential sales opportunities to the internal sales team. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of patient handling equipment Ensure your company vehicle, tools, stock, phone, and IT equipment are kept in good working order. Complete accurate timesheets, job reports, travel logs, and equipment  Skills   hydraulic engineering background. Proven electro-mechanical skills. Experience in field service, ideally within medical, mobility, or patient handling equipment (not essential if you have transferable skills). Excellent customer service and communication skills.
