Production Team Leader

Production Team Leader Leicester £13.98 per hour Full-time | Permanent | Monday to Friday We are currently recruiting for a Production Team Leader on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Leicester. The company operates within the point of sale (POS) and retail display sector, producing promotional display units used by well-known brands in retail environments. Due to continued demand, they are looking to add an experienced Team Leader to support the day-to-day running of their production operation. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced assembly environment, overseeing production operatives and ensuring output, quality and health and safety standards are consistently maintained. Key responsibilities: * Supervising a team within a production and assembly environment * Supporting the smooth running of the production line * Ensuring orders are completed to deadlines and production targets * Training and supporting both permanent and temporary staff * Monitoring productivity, quality standards and workflow * Promoting strong health and safety practices on the shop floor * Communicating effectively with management and production teams The ideal candidate will have: * Previous Team Leader, Line Leader or Supervisory experience within manufacturing or production * Experience working in a fast-paced production environment * Strong organisational and communication skills * Confidence leading and supporting a team * Ability to work to deadlines and production targets * A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail What’s on offer: * £13.98 per hour * Full-time, permanent opportunity * Monday to Friday working hours * Company pension * Sick pay * Additional leave This is a great opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment where you can play a key role in supporting production and leading a team on the shop floor
