Offshore Structural Engineer

Offshore Structural Engineer Location: London Contract Type: Permanent Work Schedule: Flexible hybrid working We are seeking an experienced Offshore Structural Engineer to join our team in London. This role provides exposure to a wide range of offshore energy projects, from early-phase engineering through to execution and decommissioning support. Key Responsibilities - Support offshore structural engineering activities throughout feasibility, FEED, troubleshooting, and decommissioning phases - Design metallic offshore structures, including fixed platforms and floating topsides, and develop FEA models - Design foundation elements such as piles and mud mats - Assess and re-design existing structures, including life-extension studies and inspection planning - Prepare technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and scopes of work - Provide technical input to drawings and attend coordination meetings - Collaborate with internal teams and other disciplines throughout project delivery - Liaise with clients, shipyards, contractors, and certification bodies - Ensure compliance with offshore design standards and company HSEQ requirements Knowledge & Experience - Familiarity with structural analysis and FEA software - Experience with industry-standard tools such as DNVGL SESAM or ANSYS is advantageous - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Benefits - Exposure to a variety of offshore energy projects - Supportive and flexible working environment - Opportunities for professional development If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit your CV and contact details for further consideration
