With a strong order book and continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with a capable and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor. The Role As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will work closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: * Managing the commercial delivery of construction projects valued up to £30m * Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans and forecasts * Overseeing subcontractor procurement, negotiation and appointment * Managing valuations, variations, and interim payments * Producing cost reports and financial updates for senior management * Ensuring effective contract administration (JCT contracts) * Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams * Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team where required Projects Projects are diverse and typically include: * Commercial developments * Education projects (schools and academies) * Healthcare facilities * Residential schemes Project values typically range up to £30 million.
