Principal Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Liverpool Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 Type: Permanent An established and growing building services consultancy in Liverpool is looking to appoint a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to support the continued growth of its mechanical design team. The consultancy delivers mechanical, electrical and public health design across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, education and industrial projects. With a strong pipeline of work and a growing project portfolio, this role offers an opportunity to lead mechanical design across multiple projects while mentoring and supporting junior engineers. The Role You will lead mechanical design delivery across a range of building services projects. Responsibilities include: * Leading HVAC and mechanical services design across projects * Managing mechanical design through all RIBA stages * Providing technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers * Liaising with clients, architects and project stakeholders * Ensuring designs meet regulatory and sustainability requirements Requirements * Strong experience in mechanical building services design * Extensive HVAC design experience * Experience managing project delivery within a consultancy environment * Chartered or working towards chartership desirable
