Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Nottingham Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive + Car Allowance The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) to join a major highways upgrade project based in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering a significant infrastructure scheme while benefiting from a flexible hybrid working arrangement. The successful candidate will support the commercial management of the project, ensuring effective cost control, contract administration, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Manage and monitor project costs and budgets * Prepare valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasts * Administer contracts and manage subcontractor accounts * Review and manage variations and change control * Support procurement activities and subcontractor negotiations * Work closely with the project management and delivery teams to maintain commercial performance * Ensure compliance with project and contractual requirements Candidate Requirements * Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) qualification * 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within highways, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects * Strong understanding of commercial management and contract administration * Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills * Ability to work effectively within a site-based project team and remotely * Previous experience with NEC contracts What’s on Offer * Competitive salary based on experience * Car allowance * Opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project How to Apply To learn more or discuss the opportunity further, please reply to this emailr with: * An up-to-date Word copy of your CV * A suitable mobile number for contact
