Quantity Surveyor Project Consultancy Practice Our client, a well-established project consultancy practice, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Employers Agent to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to work across a varied portfolio of projects within a collaborative consultancy environment. The role will involve working closely with clients and project teams, providing full cost and commercial management services across the lifecycle of projects. Key responsibilities • Providing cost planning, cost management and commercial advice across multiple projects • Preparing and managing project budgets, cost reports and financial forecasts • Managing procurement processes including preparation of tender documentation and contract administration • Advising clients on cost control and value engineering opportunities • Monitoring project expenditure and reporting on financial performance • Liaising with contractors, consultants and wider project stakeholders • Supporting the successful commercial delivery of projects from inception through to completion Project sectors • Commercial • Healthcare Candidate requirements • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline • RICS qualified or currently working towards chartership • Previous experience within a consultancy or project consultancy environment preferred • Experience delivering projects within commercial and/or healthcare sectors • Strong understanding of cost management, procurement and contract administration • Good communication and stakeholder management skills What’s on offer • Opportunity to work within a respected consultancy environment • Exposure to a range of high-quality projects • Support towards RICS chartership where required • Competitive salary and benefits package
