Service Engineer

We’re hiring for a Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering business based in Leeds. This position involves a mix of planned maintenance, fault finding and reactive repair work, supporting businesses in keeping their equipment safe and operational. What’s on offer? * £28k - £36k p/a * Mon - Fri | 8:30am – 5:30pm * Overtime available (paid at 1.5x) * Door-to-door pay (paid from leaving home to arriving on site) * Company van, fuel card & credit card * Company phone & tablet * Accommodation and allowance when working away * Healthcare scheme * Christmas bonus * Company pension scheme * Regular work socials & Christmas event What will you be doing as a Service Engineer? * Servicing and maintaining vehicle lifts, ramps and scissor lifts * Working on equipment including compressors, tyre machines and brake testers * Repairing and maintaining hose reels, pumps and galvanised pipework systems * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs * Diagnosing faults and completing electrical and mechanical repairs * Performing equipment calibrations, breakdown repairs and system testing * Reading and working from engineering schematics and technical drawings * Completing service reports and identifying defects * Supporting garage equipment installations and system checks when required What will you need? * Mechanical engineering qualification or relevant industry experience * Previous experience working with vehicles, automotive equipment or workshop machinery * Ability to carry out mechanical and electrical fault finding * Full UK driving licence Interested?
