Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: East Midlands (Hybrid – 3 days on site, 2 days remote) Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Competitive, based on experience The Role We are seeking a qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) to join a key Water project in the East Midlands. This role offers a hybrid working pattern, combining 3 days on site with 2 days remote/home working. You will play a vital role in managing cost, contracts, and commercial matters across the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Manage and monitor project costs and budgets * Prepare cost estimates, valuations, and commercial reports * Review and administer contracts and subcontracts * Assist with procurement and tender processes * Liaise with project teams, clients, and contractors * Support project financial planning and forecasting Essential Skills & Qualifications * Fully SQS qualified * 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in water, utilities, or construction projects * Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Ability to work both on site and remotely effectively What’s on Offer * Hybrid working: 3 days on site, 2 days remote * Opportunity to work on a high-profile Water project * Career development and exposure to key utilities projects How to Apply: To be considered, please reply to this email with: 1.
