Job Title: Site / Laboratory Technician Location: Various UK Locations Salary: Competitive + overtime + benefits Overview An established technical services organisation is seeking Site and Laboratory Technicians to support a range of testing, inspection and monitoring activities across construction and infrastructure projects. These roles involve both site-based sampling and testing and laboratory analysis, supporting project teams to ensure materials, environments and processes meet required standards. Key Responsibilities * Carry out site-based sampling, testing and monitoring activities * Conduct laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures and standards * Prepare samples and record accurate test data and results * Ensure all testing activities follow company procedures and relevant industry standards * Maintain accurate records of work completed and results obtained * Support site teams and laboratory staff with testing programmes and schedules * Operate and maintain testing equipment safely and correctly * Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations * Assist with reporting and documentation where required * Support project teams to ensure work is completed efficiently and to specification Skills and Experience * Experience working in a testing, inspection, construction or laboratory environment is beneficial * Understanding of materials testing, environmental testing or site investigation is advantageous * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures * Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively * Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team * Full UK driving licence may be required depending on role Desirable * Relevant technical qualifications in engineering, science or construction related disciplines * Experience working on infrastructure or construction projects * Knowledge of industry testing standards and quality procedures What’s on Offer * Competitive salary with overtime opportunities * Training and career development within a growing technical services sector * Opportunity to work on major infrastructure and construction projects across the UK
