Production Manager

A growing UK manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and develop its production operation through a major growth phase. This is a senior, hands-on role with responsibility for the full production process, team leadership, quality, health & safety, and cost control. The position offers genuine long-term progression into senior operational leadership. Key Responsibilities * Manage the full production lifecycle from order intake to dispatch * Plan and schedule production to meet delivery deadlines * Lead, develop, and motivate production teams * Control labour, material, and overhead costs * Ensure high standards of quality and health & safety * Identify and implement process improvements * Support the introduction of new products and equipment Required Experience * Proven experience as a Production / Manufacturing Manager * Background in doors, windows, uPVC, composite products, or related manufacturing * Strong people management and leadership skills * Experience controlling production costs and budgets * Hands-on approach in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Desirable * Fenestration, uPVC, or composite door manufacturing experience * Lean / continuous improvement exposure * ERP / MRP system experience What’s on Offer * Senior leadership role within a growing manufacturing business * Clear long-term career progression * Opportunity to build and shape a production operation * Competitive salary package (disclosed at interview stage)
