Building Maintenance

A growing family-run building maintenance and facilities company based near the Trafford Centre in Manchester is looking for a reliable Fabric Technician / Handyman / Handywoman / Maintenance Technician to join their small team. This is a mobile role covering mainly build-to-rent residential properties, along with other FM and end-user sites across the North West and Midlands. The role suits a practical all-rounder who is confident carrying out a mix of painting, general fabric work, basic plumbing and minor electrical repairs. Key Duties * Painting and decorating * General fabric maintenance and handyman tasks * Basic plumbing repairs * Draining and refitting radiators (no gas work) * Minor electrical work such as sockets and fittings * Reactive and planned maintenance across multiple sites What We’re Looking For * Experience as a handyman, handywoman, fabric technician or maintenance technician * Strong painting and general maintenance skills * Confidence with basic plumbing and minor electrical work * Willingness to travel across the North West and Midlands * Practical, reliable and a team player Pay & Benefits * Around £30,000 salary equivalent (£14–£15 per hour) * Door-to-door pay (travel time included) * Company van provided * Bonus structure instead of overtime * Uniform and PPE supplied * Monthly pay run on the 7th The business has a close-knit team of six and is looking for someone reliable who wants a long-term role
