Why This Role Is Exciting: Be the go-to payroll expert for the business, taking full ownership of the payroll process Gain experience in end-to-end payroll, including statutory payments, pensions, benefits, starters, and leavers Work autonomously while having access to a supportive manager for guidance Join a business that truly values and rewards employees Enjoy hybrid/flexible working (can be a part time role over 4 days), competitive salary, and benefits  Key Responsibilities: Process payroll for all employees, including starters, leavers, amendments, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP) Maintain accurate payroll and benefits records, liaising with HR and other departments Reconcile payroll accounts, prepare BACS payments, and issue P45s Handle payroll queries and ensure compliance with legislation Perform manual calculations and support pensions and benefits administration What We’re Looking For: Proven payroll experience in a similar role Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Confident working independently with full responsibility for payroll Excellent written and verbal communication skills Sage payroll experience desirable Perks & Benefits: Can be part or full time (1 day hybrid once trained) Competitive salary (£32,000) and benefits package Supportive, friendly working environment On-site parking Take ownership of payroll in a standalone role where your expertise will be valued and your contributions visible.
