Questech are recruiting on behalf of our well-established client who are looking for a Semi Skilled Fitter. Location: Warwick Salary: £17.73 per hour DOE Hours: 37 hours per week | Monday to Thursday, 07:00 – 16:30 Description: Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for precision and teamwork? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical Fitter to join a busy production team in Warwick. This is a practical role where you’ll assemble and install mechanical systems and components, working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems to deliver high-quality products in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: * Assemble and install mechanical components to specification * Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems * Interpret and work from engineering drawings * Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping * Collaborate with team members to meet production targets * Use production management systems and other computer tools * Be flexible and support other departments as needed Ideal Candidate: * Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Operative, or similar * Experience working in a production environment * Skilled in hydraulic fitting and mechanical assembly * Able to read and interpret engineering drawings * Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork * Computer literate and confident using production systems * Flexible, self-motivated, and willing to work in confined spaces or occasionally lift heavy items * Relevant fitting qualifications or hydraulics/pneumatics training is a bonus
