Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer 📍 Leeds 💷 £50,000 Basic Salary ⏰ 6–2 / 2–10 Shift Pattern (Monday–Friday) We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Leeds. The Role As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment across the site. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and support continuous production. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of production and process equipment * Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns and reactive maintenance issues * Fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems * Support continuous improvement projects across the site * Work closely with production teams to maintain maximum line efficiency * Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards Requirements * Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment * Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills * Experience working with production machinery and automated equipment * Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent) * A proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability The Package * £50,000 basic salary * Monday–Friday 6–2 / 2–10 shift pattern * Opportunity to join a stable and growing manufacturing business * Supportive engineering team and strong site investment
