Shift Plant Operator

Job Title: Shift Plant Operator £32,000 Basic - £40,000 including bonus scheme and overtime DAY SHIFT This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with innovative company involved in power generation through landfill gas and natural gas sites.The vacancy plays a vital role in ensuring the sites run efficiently. Key Responsibilities: * Operate and monitor plant processes, ensuring optimal performance. * Monitor and manage feedstock input to maximise gas / energy production. * Maintain accurate records of plant performance, maintenance activities, and compliance checks. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Carry out routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, including pumps, digesters, feedstock systems, motors, gear boxes, conveyor systems and gas engines. * Troubleshoot and diagnose faults, assisting in repairs to maintain plant efficiency. What We’re Looking For: * Experience working in a Power Plant - EFW / Biomass / Gas / CHP / Anaerobic Digestion plant, wastewater treatment, or a similar process-driven environment. * Mechanical or electrical maintenance skills (desirable but not essential).
