Description: Job Title: English Teacher SME Location: Birmingham Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum Employment Type: Permanent About the School: We are an independent school providing education to children with SEMH, SEND and Autism. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons to students with SME and Autism Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support as needed Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans for students Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns Participate in school events and activities, including parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development sessions Adhere to school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment for all studentsRequirements: Bachelor's degree in English or a related field Qualified teacher status (QTS) Experience working with students with SME and/or Autism Strong knowledge of English language, grammar, and literature Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students Passion for teaching and helping students with diverse learning needsIf you are a dedicated and passionate English teacher with experience working with students with SME and Autism, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
