PH1915 – Regional Service Manager – Fire and safety consultancy REWARDS: 55K-62K Basic Salary, 70K OTE, Car or car allowance allowance, Fuel Card LOCATION: London, Reading, Guildford, Luton, Chelmsford, Crawley Exciting opportunity to manage a Service Engineer team for a leading Fire and Safety company THE COMPANY: We are a Market leader in the field of Fire and Safety consultancy. We install and maintain fire systems for all types of commercial industries and provide innovative and market leading solutions in this area. Our services are cutting edge and provides our customers with the highest level of fire safety within their organisations. All of our customers are business customers – but span a wide range of different industry sectors including education, industrial, leisure, hospitality and healthcare. Service is a key focus within our organisation and has led to us supporting major multi site national businesses across the UK. As a result, our service team, forms a significant part of our organisation. THE ROLE: This position is a key role within our organisation and involves managing a team of between 15 and 20 Fire Service engineers. You will be responsible for performance of the team and supporting with structuring their weekly journey plans. The role is also extremely hands on and you will be involved in visiting clients alongside the engineer and supporting with solving complex client fire and safety solutions. You will also be the interface between the team and other departments internally to ensure that the highest level of service is provided to clients. This is a home based position which involves one to two days a week office based and 3-4 days in the field. THE APPLICANT: We are ideally seeking to speak to candidates with a proven track record of team management of Fire Service Engineers. * Candidates must have a proven track record within the Fire and Safety sector within their service teams. * Candidates must have hands on ability to understand and programme fire control panels. * Candidates must be hands on and enjoy both direct involvement with managing issues with systems in addition to leading and mentoring a team. * Candidates must have experience of managing service engineer teams. * Candidates must be FIA Qualified.
