Sales Executive – Chichester 📍 Chichester, West Sussex 💰 £40,000 – £55,000 OTE (Uncapped) + Company Car 🕒 Permanent | Full Time An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive to join a busy automotive showroom in Chichester. Whether you already have motor trade experience or are looking to build a career in sales, we are looking for someone with enthusiasm, strong people skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. Full training on vehicles and systems will be provided. The Role As a Sales Executive, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs, guide them through the car-buying journey, and help them choose the right vehicle and finance options. Key responsibilities include: * Welcoming customers and building strong relationships * Demonstrating vehicles and arranging test drives * Advising on pricing, finance options, and additional products * Managing customer enquiries and following up leads * Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth vehicle delivery * Maintaining customer contact to encourage repeat business * Organising your daily sales activity and prospecting for new customers What We’re Looking For * Strong communication and customer service skills * Self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude * Ability to work towards targets and deadlines * Good organisation and attention to detail * Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office and web systems) * A willingness to learn and develop Working Hours * Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 18:00 (with one weekday off) * Saturday: 08:30 – 17:00 * Sunday: 10:00 – 16:00 (1 in 4 rota) Benefits * Competitive salary with uncapped commission * Company car * Full training and career development opportunities * 30 days holiday including bank holidays (increasing with service) * Pension scheme and life assurance * Employee Assistance Programme * Staff discounts on MOTs, servicing and parts * Referral bonuses If you are passionate about sales and delivering exceptional customer service, call Lynsey at Ley Recruitment today
