Quantity Surveyor - New Build * Project based in Hackney - £40m residential scheme * Office based in East London * Salary up to £65,000 + Package Role We are currently working with a well-established main contractor in the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a £40m residential scheme in Hackney. The project is a new-build social housing development delivering 72 social rent units within a 5-storey mid-rise apartment block, procured under a JCT Design & Build contract. The scheme forms part of the wider Nightingale Estate regeneration and is currently moving through the delivery phase. This is a great opportunity to join a stable contractor with a strong pipeline of residential work across London and to play a key role in delivering an important regeneration project. Role & Responsibilities * Managing the commercial delivery of subcontractor packages * Procurement and appointment of subcontractors * Preparation and agreement of interim valuations * Cost reporting, forecasting and budget management * Managing variations and change control * Subcontractor management and payments * Supporting the agreement of final accounts * Working closely with the site and project teams throughout delivery Requirements * Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor * Background delivering new-build residential projects * Good understanding of JCT Design & Build contracts * Strong commercial and communication skills * Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (preferred) Package * Salary up to £65,000 * Competitive benefits package * Opportunity to work on a £40m residential regeneration scheme
