Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Salary - £60,000 Basic Monday - Friday - DAY SHIFT Package - Performance Bonus We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to lead and optimise engineering maintenance across the production facility, Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all mechanical systems are safe, efficient, and compliant production, while maximising plant availability and performance. This is a critical leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge, operational excellence, and a proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities * Day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production * Ensure full compliance with UK health, safety, and environmental regulations * Optimise production performance, efficiency, and availability in line with output targets * Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and planning teams to minimise downtime * Contribute to outage maintenance planning, commissioning activities, and performance testing Essential Requirements: * Qualified NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline * Proven experience in a engineering position within a manufacturing or industrial processing facility * NEBOSH / IOSH / Authorised Person qualifications How to Apply: To apply for the Maintenance Engineer position, please submit your CV via this advert.
