Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Day Shift - 7am - 3.30pm Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 (OTE £55k-£60kpa) Location: Heathrow We are currently recruiting Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to support the maintenance and servicing of automated and semi-automated material handling systems primarily for the air cargo sector This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with a mechanical and electrical fault-finding background to work in a highly specialised air cargo environment. You'll be part of a close-knit engineering team maintaining critical systems that support international logistics operations. Key Responsibilities Carry out maintenance and servicing on automated and semi-automated material handling equipment Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and electrical fault-finding Respond to breakdowns and support continuous system availability Complete maintenance reports and documentation accurately Work in full compliance with site safety procedures and operational standardsRequirements Level 2 City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) preferred Experience maintaining or servicing industrial or mechanical systems (advantageous) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Good communication and reporting abilities Full, clean UK driving licence Clean criminal record Minimum 5 years' checkable employment history (references required due to site clearance)What's on Offer Competitive starting salary Overtime available (not guaranteed) with realistic OTE of £55k-£60k 20 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day per completed year of service (up to 25 days) NEST pension scheme (after 3-month probation) Private healthcare (after 3-month probation) Stable, permanent role with long-term career potential Day-shift working only - excellent work/life balanceHow to Apply For more information on the role, or an informal discussion regarding opportunities we have available, please contact Why work with Proactive?
