You will ideally have some previous experience of mechanical assembly in a production environment or be looking to further develop your skills if you have good experience of using hand tools and enjoy taking things apart and re-building. What you’ll be doing: Assembling and testing a range of mechanical and electromechanical products This will encompass using a range of hand tools The ability to follow written instructions, ideally with the ability to read engineering drawings Follow safe working practices at all timesWhat you’ll need: Mechanical assembly experience or mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions, but also the ability to problem solve and use your own initiative Physically fit as there will be a degree of lifting (with lifting aids), and you will often be on your feet Willing to train across products and learn new skills Able to communicate effectively Ability to safely use power and hand tools The ability to read engineering drawings would be ideal Other Information: Full-time, 40 hours per week Overtime available
