Passive Fire Surveyor

A growing fire safety consultancy is seeking an experienced Passive Fire Surveyor to support the delivery of fire safety inspections and technical assessments across a varied property portfolio. This opportunity would suit a detail-focused Passive Fire Surveyor who enjoys site-based work and is confident assessing fire protection systems within both existing buildings and construction projects. The Passive Fire Surveyor will work within a multidisciplinary team providing technical advice to ensure buildings meet current fire safety legislation and industry standards. The Passive Fire Surveyor's Role Carrying out passive fire protection inspections across existing buildings and construction sites Assessing fire stopping, compartmentation and cavity barrier installations Ensuring passive fire protection systems meet manufacturer specifications and certified installation details Identifying remedial works and preparing technical reports with recommendations Reviewing drawings and site information to support compliance assessments Advising clients and project teams on fire safety compliance and best practice Supporting building audits and fire safety surveys across multiple projectsThe Passive Fire Surveyor Experience carrying out passive fire inspections or fire compartmentation surveys Knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, standards and guidance Ability to read technical drawings and prepare clear technical reports Relevant passive fire or fire safety qualifications desirable (ASFP, NVQ or similar) Strong communication and organisational skills Full UK driving licenceIn Return? £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience Home-based role with travel across the UK Pension scheme and additional holiday benefits Ongoing CPD and training opportunitiesThis role would suit an experienced Passive Fire Surveyor looking to join a growing fire safety consultancy working on a variety of projects across the built environment.
