FPGA Design Engineer – Contract 📍 Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid) 📅 Initial 6-month contract with strong extension potential We’re looking for an experienced FPGA Design Engineer with strong SystemVerilog and Xilinx FPGA development experience using the Vivado toolchain to join an international R&D team developing a high-precision synchronisation platform used in advanced electronics and instrumentation systems. 💻 The Role You will contribute to the development of FPGA functionality within a complex timing and synchronisation system. Responsibilities include: ✔ Implementing FPGA modules using SystemVerilog ✔ Extending functionality within an existing FPGA architecture ✔ Supporting simulation, validation and timing analysis ✔ Collaborating with engineers across hardware, firmware and software teams ✔ Contributing to the evolution of a mature commercial FPGA platform ✅ Requirements ✔ 5+ years FPGA development experience ✔ Strong SystemVerilog / RTL design skills ✔ Experience with Xilinx devices and Vivado ✔ Understanding of simulation, validation and timing closure ✔ Experience integrating FPGA IP blocks within larger systems 📄 Contract Details ✔ Initial 6-month contract ✔ Strong likelihood of extension as the platform roadmap develops ✔ Hybrid working in Barcelona 🌍 The Project You’ll be working on the continued development of a high-precision hardware platform used in advanced electronics and instrumentation systems, as part of an international engineering team developing a mature commercial product. 📩 Interested?
