Freelance Mechanical Project Manager – Chichester – £400–£450 per day – 4 Month Contract Skilled Careers are working with a reputable M&E contractor who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team on a freelance basis for a 4-month contract. This is a great opportunity to take a leading role on a large-scale industrial project based in Chichester, overseeing the successful delivery of mechanical services on site. Role Overview: The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for managing the mechanical package from site delivery through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Manage the mechanical installation works across the project Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams Monitor programme, progress, and project milestones Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site standards Liaise with the main contractor, consultants, and project stakeholders Manage quality control and ensure works meet project specifications Support commissioning, testing, and final handover Requirements: Proven experience working as a Mechanical Project Manager within the M&E or building services sector Experience delivering mechanical packages on large-scale industrial or complex construction projects Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills Solid understanding of mechanical building services installations and project delivery SMSTS, Black or Gold CSCS, and relevant mechanical qualifications (desirable) Details: Location: Chichester Contract: Freelance – 4 months Rate: £400–£450 per day (depending on experience) Start: Immediate / ASAP For more information please contact Stephen Tiigah – (url removed)
