Senior Consultant – IBM TM1 / Planning Analytics (Financial Services) We’re working with a growing Finance Consulting Modelling (FCM) team that specialises in delivering advanced FP&A and financial modelling solutions to organisations across the Financial Services sector. They’re looking for an experienced IBM TM1 / Planning Analytics professional to join the team at Senior Consultant level, helping design and deliver complex financial models that support planning, budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision-making for senior finance stakeholders. The Role As a Senior Consultant, you’ll specialise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and play a key role in designing, developing and implementing IBM TM1 models tailored to client needs. You will: Design and develop financial planning and forecasting models on the IBM TM1 / Planning Analytics platform Translate complex financial data requirements into model designs and integrations Build rules, calculations, dashboards and analytical solutions within TM1 Develop data integrations between models and external data sources Work closely with finance stakeholders and solution architects to deliver tailored solutions Support training, knowledge transfer and post-implementation support Contribute to innovation within finance modelling and EPM delivery What We’re Looking For: 2+ years experience building applications using IBM TM1 / IBM Planning Analytics Strong experience delivering FP&A models (planning, budgeting, forecasting) Experience with multi-dimensional modelling and OLAP technologies Strong understanding of financial data, accounting principles and finance processes Ability to translate complex business requirements into modelling solutions Excellent communication skills with both technical and finance stakeholders Nice to Have: IBM Planning Implementation Professional certification Experience with other EPM / OLAP platforms (e.g. Anaplan) Programming experience with Python, Groovy, JavaScript or similar Experience working within banking, insurance, or asset/wealth management If you’re an IBM TM1 / Planning Analytics specialist looking to work on complex finance transformation and modelling projects within Financial Services, I’d be happy to discuss the opportunity further. 📩 Feel free to reach out or apply directly
