Manufacturing Supervisor

Manufacturing Supervisor South Manchester £45,000 – £55,000 We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in South Manchester. This role is responsible for leading and supervising manufacturing teams to ensure the safe, efficient and on-time delivery of products to the required quality and cost standards, while supporting continuous improvement across operations. Key Responsibilities • Lead and supervise manufacturing teams to deliver production schedules safely and efficiently • Ensure products are delivered on time, to cost and to quality requirements • Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations • Manage team performance, attendance and welfare in line with company procedures • Deliver shift briefings and communicate key operational updates to the team • Monitor and report on operational KPIs and production performance • Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure programme delivery • Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workplace organisation Requirements • Experience supervising manufacturing teams within engineering, aerospace, automotive or similar environments • Strong understanding of manufacturing schedules and recovery planning • Experience reporting operational KPIs and performance metrics • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and make decisions under pressure
