Transport Planner

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Container Transport Planner for an exciting permanent job opportunity in Liverpool. * Mon-Fri * 8am-5pm * Previous container planning experience is essential * Permanent role Key Responsibilities * Plan and schedule daily container movements for road transport * Communicate with ports, depots, drivers, and customers to organise collections and deliveries * Monitor live jobs, traffic conditions, and delays, adjusting plans when necessary * Ensure compliance with transport regulations, health & safety rules, and company procedures * Update systems with job statuses, delivery notes, and relevant documentation * Work closely with operations, customer service, and management teams * Handle queries, resolve issues quickly, and maintain high service levels Skills & Experience Required * Previous experience in container transport, haulage planning, or logistics scheduling * Strong understanding of port operations, VBS systems, and container procedures * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment * Good IT skills, including transport management software and MS Office * Problem‑solving mindset and strong attention to detail * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team If you are an experienced container transport planner interested in this role, please click APPLY now
