Transport Planner Chester/Manchester/Newcastle £30,000 - £35,000 I’m currently working on behalf of a growing and highly regarded transport planning consultancy to recruit a Transport Planner to join their expanding team. This is a great opportunity for someone with more than one years of experience to further develop their career while working on a wide range of development planning projects across the UK, including schemes supporting the transition to sustainable and low-carbon development. The Role The successful candidate will support the delivery of transport planning projects across a variety of sectors, with responsibilities including: • Collecting, analysing and interpreting traffic and transport data • Assessing development sites for accessibility across multiple transport modes • Undertaking junction capacity assessments • Preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans • Producing high-quality technical reports and supporting documentation • Contributing to highway improvement scheme designs  • Supporting project delivery and client communication The Ideal Candidate • Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or a related field • Strong understanding of development-led transport planning processes • Experience using industry-standard modelling software • Knowledge of highway design standards and guidance • Strong analytical, technical writing and communication skills  • Organised, proactive and able to manage workload effectively What’s on Offer • Competitive salary and annual bonus • Pension contributions and private healthcare • Payment of professional membership fees • Ongoing training and mentoring from senior technical staff • Flexible / hybrid working arrangements  • Clear progression opportunities within a growing consultancy If you’re open to hearing more about this opportunity, please apply now or contact Callum at Aztrum via (url removed)
