Production Operator

MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Peterlee area. Our client is currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for a long term position. The role would see you carrying out general duties; including basic Quality Inspection, Machine Operating, and Hand Assembly. The Role * Following basic engineering drawing and diagrams * Overviewing machinery and making adjustments to the setting where required * Visual quality inspections duties to be completed on all products * The role will be based with a clean room environment, so must be able to wear the following lab coat, hats, bearded snood if required. * Packing items into boxes, and labelling materials and ensuring items are correctly packaged * Manually transporting materials within the production area * Completing visual quality inspection and completing quality assurance paper work * Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times * General housekeeping duties and following specific standard operations and being able to adhere to social distancing is required The Person * A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job * Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary * Will ideally have experience working in manufacturing * Must be available to start within the next 5 working days The Hours * 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 / 22:00 – 06:00 The Pay * Days: £12.81 per hour * Backs: £15.37 per hour * Nights: £17.17 per hour
