Quantity Surveyor Liverpool £40,000 – £50,000 | Highways Projects A multi-disciplinary and dynamic civil engineering consultancy in Liverpool is seeking a degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor with up to 5 years’ experience to join their team. They focus on highways projects across the North West, working with clients and tier 1 contractors on major schemes. This role is ideal for a QS looking to specialise in highways work, gain NEC contract experience, and receive full support to achieve RICS Chartered status through the APC. You’ll be supported by a strong team in a great working environment. Key Responsibilities * Preparing interim valuations, cost reports, and final accounts under NEC contracts * Subcontractor procurement, account management, and cost control * Monitoring budgets, forecasts, and overall project performance * Supporting project teams with variations, change control, and commercial reporting * Liaising directly with clients and tier 1 contractors Requirements * Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor * Up to 5 years’ QS experience, preferably on highways projects * NEC contract knowledge, or willingness to develop expertise * Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills * Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple projects * Ambition to progress towards APC and achieve RICS Chartered status What’s On Offer * Salary £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience * Exposure to major highways projects across the North West * Work with clients and tier 1 contractors * Full support to achieve RICS Chartered status through the APC * Opportunity to take ownership of commercial packages in a supportive consultancy team Apply If you’re interested in this opportunity, please apply with a copy of your CV or get in touch with our Commercial Specialist, Jane Fairhurst
