Electrician

Job Title: Industrial Electrician Location: Huntingdon Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: £16.00 – £19.00 per hour (depending on experience) About the Role We are a generator company based in Huntingdon, specialising in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of industrial generator systems. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our growing team on a permanent basis. This role is focused primarily on industrial electrical work, supporting generator installations and associated electrical systems across commercial and industrial sites. Key Responsibilities * Installation and wiring of industrial generator systems * Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs * Control panel wiring and termination * Testing and inspection of electrical systems * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) * Working from electrical drawings and schematics * Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and health & safety standards * Supporting commissioning and site-based installation projects Requirements * Proven experience in industrial electrical work (essential) * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred) * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent * Experience working with generators, control panels, or industrial plant (advantageous) * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics * Full UK driving licence * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently What We Offer * Competitive hourly rate (£16.00 – £19.00 per hour) * Permanent, full-time position * Overtime opportunities * Company pension scheme * Ongoing training and development * Opportunity to work on varied and technically interesting industrial projects
