HVAC / Refrigeration Engineer – Mobile Dudley West Midlands Salary: £50,000 per annum (DOE) Plus Van, door to door pay & overtime (OTE60k) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Midlands, mobile role - on call one in four weeks Benefits: Company van provided (personal use & door to door pay + overtime) Start Date: ASAP The Role An established and growing engineering company is looking for an experienced HVAC / Refrigeration Engineer to join their mobile service team. The role is based from the West Midlands, with occasional further travel to support key contracts and project work. This is a varied, hands-on role working across commercial, residential, hotel, and industrial environments, offering excellent technical exposure and long-term progression. Key Responsibilities * Service, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems * Reactive and planned maintenance works * Occasional installation and commissioning * Mobile engineer duties across the Midlands and North when required * Diagnose system faults and carry out effective repairs * Complete service reports and maintain compliance standards * Work independently while liaising with supervisors and engineers * Support national projects when required Systems & Equipment * HVAC systems * Refrigeration systems * Chilled water systems * DX systems (VRV / VRF, splits, multi-splits) * Commercial & industrial refrigeration (chillers, condensers, freezers) * Gas-fired heating plant * Boilers and water heaters * Industrial plant and engineering environments (occasional) Candidate Requirements * Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer / Refrigeration Engineer * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Experience in commercial buildings, hotels or residential developments * Comfortable working as a mobile engineer * Full UK driving licence (essential) * F-Gas certification – desirable * Gas Safe registration – desirable but not essential What’s on Offer * Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience * Company van provided – personal use permitted * Mobile engineer role with autonomy * Training and upskilling opportunities * Supportive and experienced engineering team * Long-term, stable position with varied work Apply Now If you’re an experienced HVAC / Refrigeration Engineer based in or around the West Midlands and looking for a mobile role with excellent pay and variety, apply today.
