Child Support Worker

We are currently recruiting flexible Residential Support Workers in Basildon This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, family-run company that genuinely invests in its staff and provides clear progression opportunities. About the role * Supporting young people aged 14–17 * Homes are registered as EBD services * 2:1 staffing ratio – you will never be lone working * All young people attend school This is a structured, well-supported environment with experienced managers and a hands-on director who are known for being approachable and supportive. Shift Pattern & Flexibility * Must be flexible to work both days and nights (preference will be considered where possible) * Standard shifts: * 8:00am – 8:00pm * 8:00pm – 8:00am * Requirement to work 3–4 shifts per week Training & Development The company strongly invests in staff development by doing additional training including: * Restraint Training * Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, creating strong opportunities for internal progression. Requirements * Previous residential childcare experience preferred * Must be flexible for days and nights * Restraint training certificate preferred (company will provide if not) * All compliance and referencing must be completed prior to placement * Must be a driver with full UK licence Why Join?
