CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist - Up to £45,000 - Chelmsford I'm working with a partner company in Chelmsford to recruit a true CNC Machinist, someone confident stepping straight onto their DMG MORI and Hermle machines and producing aerospace-grade parts from day one. This is a genuinely hands-on, shop-floor position. You'll be machining, problem-solving, proving out toolpaths, and making high-precision components. The unique twist? Much of your work will also be filmed and turned into high-performing online content viewed by hundreds of thousands (sometimes millions) of people. It's machining first, content second, but you'll quickly become a key face of their brand. Day-to-day responsibilities: Set up and run 5-axis jobs for filming (tooling, workholding, proving out) Machine real components to micron tolerances while explaining your process on camera Create engaging content: one-take part manufacturing and production, tool-crash reactions, "why this cutter costs 3× more," etc. Demonstrate how AI-driven software dramatically reduces programming time Work closely with the video/marketing team, with full creative freedom Must have: Current or recent hands-on 5-axis milling experience making real parts Ability to independently choose tools, fixtures, speeds/feeds, and safely prove out programs Solid understanding of metrology and GD&T Able to commute to Chelmsford or willing to relocate Nice to have (not essential): Your own machining Instagram/TikTok/YouTube (even a small following helps) Offline programming experience (NX, Mastercam, Fusion) Comfortable speaking on camera Package: £40k-£45k + private medical + 28 days holiday If you're a genuine CNC Machinist who watches Titans, Pierson Workholding, NYC CNC or Edge Precision and thinks, "I could do that," please apply with your CV, and a link to your Instagram/YouTube if you have one. #Tier1
