Project Quantity Surveyor – Permanent Position Position: Project Quantity Surveyor Base Location: SE1, London Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £50,000- 65,000 DOE Skilled Careers Contact: Mark Dixon (Maidstone branch) We’re looking for an Project Quantity Surveyor to join a busy main contractor and support a company based in SE1 area in London. This is a permanent role offering long-term career progression within a company that genuinely values professional development and internal growth. You will take commercial responsibility for three external refurbishment schemes, running concurrently as part of a wider programme of works. What will you be doing As Project QS, you will be commercially leading multiple live external refurbishment schemes from pre-construction through to final account. You’ll work closely with the site and project management teams to ensure financial efficiency, risk management, and successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Full commercial management of three live façade remediation schemes Cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting Procurement of subcontractors and supplier packages Preparation and submission of valuations and applications for payment Variations management and contract administration Managing subcontractor payments and final accounts Cost reporting and cash flow forecasting Identifying and mitigating commercial risks Supporting project delivery teams to ensure works are completed within budget What are they looking for Proven experience operating as a Project Quantity Surveyor Experience managing multiple live projects simultaneously  Strong background with a main contractor Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying  Must live within a 45-minute commute of Waterloo Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills What’s on offer Salary of  up to £65,000 DOE Permanent position with a stable, well-established contractor Clear career progression pathway Supportive commercial team environment Long-term pipeline of secured projects Interested If you’re looking to take your next step in your Quantity Surveyor career with a well-established contractor, we’d like to hear from you
