Multi Trader / Carpenter

Job Title: Skilled Multi Trader / Joiner / Carpenter Permanent Vacancy Salary Negotiable Job Description: Hours: Average 50 hours per week (Monday–Sunday, 7am–7pm) Includes overtime, night shifts, weekends, and occasional overnight stays (accommodation and meals provided). About the Role You’ll play a hands-on role in creating new store environments and upgrading existing stores to the exceptional standards our clients expect. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced department where no two projects are the same. Key Responsibilities New Store Fit-Outs & Refurbishments * Install shelving systems and retail fixtures * Fit till areas and self-checkout zones * Assemble store furniture and displays * Carry out rip-outs and refits of sales floors * Install protection fixtures, signage, and ancillary items * Complete finishing tasks including painting and plastering Self-Checkout Installations * Install SCO areas during store closures (night shifts) General Project Work * Support a variety of smaller projects as required * Work to industry standards, company procedures, and health & safety legislation What We’re Looking For * Shopfitting or maintenance experience (beneficial but not essential) * Strong teamwork skills with the ability to use initiative * Good communication skills * Reliable with excellent timekeeping * Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work * Positive, can-do attitude * Ability to follow detailed instructions * Good spoken and written English * Relevant qualifications (e.g., CSCS card) are desirable What to Expect * Fast-paced, varied project work * Regular travel and overnight stays during major projects * A supportive team environment * Opportunity to develop hands-on skills across a range of retail installations If you enjoy practical work, take pride in delivering high standards, and thrive in a team-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you
