Production Planner

We are actively recruiting on behalf of our client for 2 Production Planners for two different shifts for a food manufacturer based in Nottingham. Skills of a Production Planner: To liaise effectively with purchasing and SOP to ensure that all amendments are dealt with the achieve 100% customer service To ensure that all production schedules which are produced meet Internal Product Specification and Technical guidelines To provide a service to the factory to ensure that all orders and amendments are processed and communicated correctly with relevant stakeholders Monitor and maintain stock levels of products where required Handle internal and external queries, ensuring accurate and efficient responses To attend daily meetings to discuss the next days plans and labour requirements Ensure that our internal systems are kept accurate and up to date Requirements of a Production Planner: Experience in production planning Excellent attention to detail Experience of working in the food industry would be beneficial Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate data Experience in withing with MRP Systems (M3 would be preferred) Confident in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders Flexible to assist the team with holiday and sickness cover BENEFITS of a Production Planner: Role 1 – Thursday to Monday 9am to 5pm.  Role 2 – Sunday and Monday 4am to 12pm, Tuesday to Thursday 8am to 4pm.  Salary £30000 - £32000 8% contributory pension (5% contributed by you) 28 days holiday, including Bank Holidays Close to good transport links (bus and tram) with limited car parking available on site Please contact (url removed)
