Role Overview The Head of Finance will provide strategic financial leadership across the business, ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and reporting. This role combines high-level financial strategy with hands-on oversight of financial operations, supporting informed decision-making and long-term business growth. The role requires a commercially focused, proactive finance leader who can translate complex financial data into actionable insights for the executive team and board. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage the finance function, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and treasury. * Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. * Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, financial statements, and board reports. * Oversee cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning. * Monitor financial performance, KPIs, and profitability, identifying opportunities and risks. * Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax obligations, and internal controls. * Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing scenario analysis and business insights. * Support mergers, acquisitions, and investment initiatives from a financial perspective. * Partner with operational teams to drive cost efficiency, process improvement, and financial accountability. * Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performing culture. Skills and Experience * ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified, or equivalent. * Extensive experience in a senior finance role, ideally as a Finance Director or Head of Finance. * Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and advise senior leadership. * Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. * Experience managing a finance team and leading organizational change. * Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex financial information clearly. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Proficient in finance systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office.
