Cleaning Team Leader

Cleaning Team Leader £28,000 per annum Peterborough Full-Time Permanent Full Time – 37 Hours per week – Permanent Based out of our Head Office Shrewsbury Avenue, Peterborough (Apply online only) Monday – Friday We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Cleaning Team Leader to join our Estates Management Team. You’ll lead a team of 15 cleaners (including mobile and hostel cleaners) to deliver high-quality cleaning services across our head office and off-site locations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll ensure standards are met, health and safety requirements are adhered to, and customer satisfaction remains a top priority. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and support the cleaning team to deliver services across multiple sites. * Ensure cleaning meets agreed standards and performance targets. * Organise and conduct team meetings and individual performance reviews. * Maintain compliance with Health & Safety and environmental regulations (including COSHH). * Arrange ad hoc works such as deep cleans and specialist floor cleaning. * Conduct audits and maintain communication logs across sites. * Provide training and ensure teams have the right equipment to deliver services. What We’re Looking For * Experience in commercial cleaning and team supervision. * Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations. * Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills. * IT proficiency (Microsoft Office). * Flexible, customer-focused, and able to work across different environments. * Full UK driving licence. * Willingness to work outside normal hours when required and maintain a basic DBS check.
