Role: SEND Teaching Assistant Pay Rate: £93.25–£100 per day Start Date: 20th April 2026 (Sooner if possible) Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm The Role: As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, adapting learning to individual needs Assist in delivering EHCPs, IEPs, and behaviour support plans Promote inclusion, independence, and positive social interaction Support emotional wellbeing, communication, and behaviour regulation Work closely with teachers, the SENCo, and wider support staff We’re Looking For: Previous SEND experience (desirable but not essential) Transferable experience (e.g. care work, youth work, psychology, family SEND experience) A patient, resilient, and proactive approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills A genuine desire to learn and develop within education What Teaching Personnel Can Offer: Weekly PAYE pay every Friday – no umbrella deductions Short-term, long-term, and permanent opportunities Free SEND and safeguarding CPD courses A dedicated SEND consultant to support you throughout your placement £50 referral bonus for educators you recommend Pension scheme with employer contributions Clear pathways into permanent roles Competitive pay – we’ll match or beat other agency rates!
