Job Title: Handyman/Trainee Carpenter (Temp to Perm) Location: Sevenoaks (TN15) Pay Rate: £19 per/hour CIS Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm (Paid 8 hours per day) Contract: Temporary to Permanent About the Company Our client is a specialist manufacturer of GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) and anti-slip access systems. They design and fabricate high-quality safety access solutions for a range of industries. The Role This is a beginner-level position ideal for a motivated individual eager to learn from experienced fitters and fabricators. You will be working strictly on the tools within the factory environment, assisting with and building anti-slip access systems and carrying out fiberglass work. Key Duties Fabricating and assembling GRP and anti-slip access systems Carrying out fiberglass work Working alongside experienced fitters to learn and develop skills Operating tools and equipment within a factory setting Maintaining high standards of quality and safety Requirements Keen attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work in a hands-on factory environment Carpentry experience is desirable Any additional relevant tickets or certifications are beneficial This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable hands-on experience within a specialist manufacturing company, with the potential to secure a permanent position
