We is partnering with a growing, fast-paced distribution business that is experiencing a significant uplift in activity. With growth comes opportunity and they’re now looking for a Supply Chain Controller who can bring structure, visibility, and control to their end-to-end supply chain function. Why This Role Matters As the business grows, so does the complexity of its operations. Currently, purchasing, MRP, logistics coordination, dispatch, and stock control responsibilities are spread across a small team. As the company grows this role will be able to grow with the position. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll take full ownership of purchasing, MRP, and logistics control, ensuring a smooth journey from customer order through to dispatch. Key Responsibilities: Managing and optimising the MRP system Overseeing warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring safe and efficient goods movement Raising and managing direct material purchase orders Streamlining supply chain processes for maximum cost effectiveness Developing strategic partnerships with logistics providers Improving visibility and predictability of inbound and outbound deliveries Owning stock control, traceability, safety stock levels, and inventory accuracy Supporting operational cover during holiday, absence, or peak activity This is a hands-on role with strategic influence, ideal for someone who enjoys both operational control and process improvement. What We’re Looking For You’ll ideally bring: Experience coordinating warehouse, logistics, or transport operations Strong knowledge of inventory management and goods-in/goods-out processes ERP, MRP or WMS experience Forklift Truck license is desirable A proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving And personally, you are: Friendly and approachable A natural team player Happy to get your head down when the work needs doing What’s On Offer £40,000 salary Up to 10% annual bonus (Company performance dependent) 25 days holiday + bank holidays 6% contributory pension Life insurance Health cover scheme Discounted gym membership If this sounds like the role for you then APPLY NOW!
