Job Opportunity: PMLD Teaching Assistant Location: Tower Hamlets, E3 Start Date: March 2026 Industry: Education & Training Pay: £90–£110 per week Are you an experienced PMLD Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive SEND school in Tower Hamlets? Your Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers to provide tailored support for students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). Responsibilities include: ✔ One-to-one support for students’ academic and social development ✔ Providing personal care for pupils with PMLD needs ✔ Assisting with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) ✔ Supporting classroom engagement and participation ✔ Collaborating with teachers, parents, and professionals ✔ Monitoring and recording student progress What We’re Looking For: ✅ Previous experience with SEN (highly desirable) ✅ Willingness to provide personal care ✅ TA & Childcare Level 1/2/3 qualifications ✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills ✅ Patience, empathy, and a passion for inclusive education ✅ Flexible and proactive approach How to Apply: Interviews will be arranged online.
