Process Operator

Process Operator – Anaerobic Digestion £35,000 + Overtime (x1.5) + Benefits Malmesbury SCINERGY Recruitment are working with a Anaerobic Digestion facility to recruit a Plant Operator to support the day-to-day running of the site. This is a hands-on operational role working 10-hour shifts (8:00am – 6:00pm) on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern. During your working rotation you will be on call for emergencies, with any call-outs paid at time and a half. Overtime and holiday cover are also paid at x1.5. The role will involve • Monitoring and controlling the SCADA system to ensure optimum plant performance • Supporting and driving compliance with site health, safety and environmental standards • Feeding operations – filling hoppers in line with feed ration requirements • Recording and reporting daily plant statistics and performance data • Completing daily, weekly and monthly operational checks • Carrying out first-line maintenance • Identifying and reporting breakdowns, damage and operational irregularities • Operating the weighbridge and ensuring correct documentation • Maintaining site security and delivering visitor inductions • Supporting maintenance activities, overhauls and wider team requirements • Managing spares and consumables usage • Maintaining high housekeeping standards across site To be considered for this role, you should have • Experience in a process, industrial or agricultural environment (AD, waste, utilities, farming, manufacturing etc.) • Previous experience operating SCADA/DCS/HMI systems is advantageous • A strong understanding of health & safety and safe systems of work • Practical mechanical aptitude and ability to carry out basic maintenance tasks • A proactive, hands-on and team-oriented approach • Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays and provide holiday cover when required What’s on offer • £35,000 salary • 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (10-hour days) • Overtime and call-outs paid at time and a half • Holiday cover paid at time and a half • The opportunity to work within a growing renewable energy sector For further information or to apply, please contact Callum Sheppard at SCINERGY Recruitment
