Principal Architectural Technician Leicester Up to £50,000 DOE Aztrum is proud to be partnering with a well-established and growing architectural practice in Leicester, who are looking to appoint a Principal Architectural Technician to join their Residential team. This is a senior, job-running role offering the opportunity to lead major housebuilding and large-scale residential schemes, taking projects from post-planning through technical delivery and construction. Key Responsibilities for this Principal Architectural Technician role: • Lead and run large-scale residential and major housebuilding projects from post-planning through to completion • Take ownership of technical delivery across multiple live schemes • Coordinate consultants, contractors, and specialist teams • Produce, oversee, and review detailed technical drawing packages in Revit • Act as a key technical lead within the Residential team • Manage programme, budget, and quality throughout delivery • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning conditions, and industry standards • Attend and lead site meetings through construction and handover Requirements for this Principal Architectural Technician role: • Proven experience running residential projects independently across RIBA Stages 3–6 • Strong Revit proficiency • Experience delivering major housebuilding or large-scale residential schemes • Excellent technical knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing • Confident managing consultants, clients, and contractors • Ability to lead technically and support junior staff If this opportunity is of interest to you, please contact Harley on (url removed) or alternatively call (phone number removed) for more information
